Science One member advised us that we should encourage our young people to be scientists - our teachings are so valuable that we recognise the need to share them with people who work in many scientific fields
Health Ministry Seventh-day Adventists are renowned for their 'Health Message'. We also care about the health of the community around us - so we run 'Health Expo's' and teach good health practices
Church is - people The church is people. We are a multi-national church joined by a common faith.
Children's Ministry Our children are special to us. Pastor Patricia Douglas joined us for a special 'coming of age' celebration. The children enjoyed learning that God is a great Potter, and we choose to be moulded by Him.
Music is important to us A normal Sabbath morning will always include music - usually with special items from singers or musicians. The talent is abundant. God indeed gives gifts
Sabbath School The first service on a Sabbath morning is a Bible study time we call 'Sabbath School'. All ages take part. The adult classes are stimulating discussions based on themes found in the Bible.
Pathfinders Our children benefit from Adventurers and Pathfinders. They go camping, learn skills and develop relationships with each other and God in a really safe environment

Protection

We can go to God for protection. It's in the Bible, Psalm 18:2, NIV. "The Lord is my rock, my fortress and my deliverer; my God is my rock, in whom I take refuge. He is my shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold."

Jesus followers will not suffer spiritual or eternal loss. It's in the Bible, Luke 21:17-19, NIV. "All men will hate you because of Me. But not a hair of your head will perish. By standing firm you will save yourselves."

God is always ready to help. It's in the Bible, Psalm 46:1-3, TLB. "God is our refuge and strength, a tested help in times of trouble. And so we need not fear even if the world blows up, and the mountains crumble into the sea. Let the oceans roar and foam; let the mountains tremble!"

God doesn't promise a world free of danger, but He promises to help when we face it. It's in the Bible, Psalm 91:1-10, TLB. "We live within the shadow of the Almighty, sheltered by the God who is above all gods. This I declare, that He alone is my refuge, my place of safety; He is my God, and I am trusting Him. For He rescues you from every trap, and protects you from the fatal plague. He will shield you with his wings! They will shelter you. His faithful promises are your armor. Now you don't need to be afraid of the dark any more, nor fear the dangers of the day; nor dread the plagues of darkness, nor disasters in the morning. Though a thousand fall at my side, though ten thousand are dying around me, the evil will not touch me. I will see how the wicked are punished but I will not share it. For Jehovah is my refuge! I choose the God above all gods to shelter me. How then can evil overtake me or any plague come near?

God sends His angels to watch over you. It's in the Bible, Psalm 91:11-12, NKJV.  "For He shall give His angels charge over you, to keep you in all your ways. In their hands they shall bear you up, lest you dash your foot against a stone." Psalm 34:7, NKJV. "The angel of the LORD encamps all around those who fear Him, and delivers them."

When we belong to God, we are God's responsibility. God is with us, even in difficult situations. It's in the Bible, Isaiah 43:1-2, NKJV. "But now, thus says the LORD, who created you, O Jacob, And He who formed you, O Israel:
Fear not, for I have redeemed you; I have called you by your name; You are Mine. When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; And through the rivers, they shall not overflow you. When you walk through the fire, you shall not be burned, Nor shall the flame scorch you"

God, maker of all heaven and earth, is over you. It's in the Bible, Psalm 121:1-2, NIV. " I lift up my eyes to the hills- where does my help come from? My help comes from the LORD, the Maker of heaven and earth."

We have no need to fear evil, because God is with us. It's in the Bible, Psalm 23:4 NIV.  "Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for You are with me..."
